Dr. Carson Dial was born and raised right here in Boise, where he grew up loving baseball and Boise State football. He is excited and humbled to practice in his hometown and raise his family in this great community.
Dr. Dial graduated from Borah High School in 2005, where he was active in student government and played baseball. He went on to study Exercise Physiology at Brigham Young University–Idaho. While there, he met his beautiful wife, Carly. They were married in August 2009.
Shortly after graduating from BYU–Idaho, they moved to South Jordan, Utah, where Dr. Dial earned his DMD degree at Roseman University of Health Sciences College of Dental Medicine. While there, he held various roles in student leadership and participated in several community outreach projects. He and his wife Carly are the parents to four wonderful children who keep them busy and active.
Dr. Dial truly has developed a love for the clinical complexities of dentistry and for helping people overcome the fear and anxiety that is commonly associated with visiting the dentist. His interest in dentistry started as a teenager over weekend Wiffle ball games with close friends, including his former dentist Dr. Jon Hastings. He enjoys working closely with Dr. Hastings at Times Square Dental.
I kind of grew up in a little community where there were a lot of dentists as family friends and friends, John being one of those. He played a big role. My dad was a firefighter here in Boise and so I knew a job kind of in the service industry was one that I wanted to pursue. He always said he never worked a day in his life because he got to go and help people and got paid to do it. I think that kind of drove me in this direction. Then other influences like John and my mom works in a dental lab, being able to help people as part of my career path kind of drove me in that direction.
